Why you should choose mindmaths

Jane Langdon

With over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience, my students say it all in their comments below. I have taught across a range of ages, in different educational settings and in different countries. My knowledge of all the courses in mathematics is extensive and my tutoring experience ranges from small groups to 1:1, online and face to face.

My particular strength is in working with students who find maths challenging and supporting them to overcome barriers in their learning.

From my perspective, my main passion has always been working together with each student to find their best learning style and developing their independence and resilience.

I believe that at the heart of each person lies an ability to tackle maths problems, whether they be numerical, every day issues or the most advanced algebraic manipulations. My job is to demonstrate to each person how to unlock their potential.

I care for each person I teach, I promote well being and do my best to ensure lessons are positive and inclusive. I encourage interaction and analysis and I love what I do.
